there are new gen knetz and inetz that go on and on about how BoA is now “irrelevant” and “too old” (don’t believe me? Just look at comments that were left on articles back when she came back with “Woman”) but she goes and proves them wrong by selling out her Live in Seoul concert in only 0.5 seconds. Legends only.
I don’t know why Korean IZ*ONE fans are getting all worked up over Sakura and Nako attending a HKT48 concert for ONE day, and only for a few fucking hours. Not only is it HKT48’s 8th anniversary concert, it’s also a send-off concert for Sakura and Nako!
I don’t mind NCT’s whole infinite member/sub-unit concept. But I pray that at some point SM decides to just take a couple of the trainees and put them to the side to make a whole new separate boy group of their own rather than just adding EVERY SINGLE male trainee into NCT.
I know some multis would genuinely like to see a BTS/EXO collab, but.. that honestly sounds like it’d be a whole mess. But maybe something small like a collab between Jongin and Jimin. Or Jin and Junmyeon. Nothing major. I think that would be nice.. although I’m sure some antis on both sides would find some way to ruin it regardless.
I think the biggest reason why there’s such a big split between people who love and hate BTS is the amount of times you get exposed to them daily. When I was a huge ARMY, everytime I saw something BTS related, I loved it, even if it was under unrelated articles. Because I found MY people! But now, although I still love them and their songs, I get pretty annoyed when I see them everywhere, mostly commented by the toxic part of the fandom. So both the hate and love gets fueled every day.
EXO is so boring…I feel most people into that group are only in it for the music because their personalities aren’t it.
i love the rise of “all center” groups – a.c.e, the boyz, even jbj before their contract ended. even if center/line distributions will never be truly equal, i appreciate the idea behind it.
Am I the only one who doesn’t totally get when people diss award shows for being attendance awards. Like yeah, everyone who attends gets something but they’re still selective when it comes to invitations. Why do people always assume it’s the groups skipping the event instead of them just not being invited in the first place?
Jennie does deserve criticism over her recent performances but lets not pretend people aren’t using it as an excuse to rag on her.
For admins: Regarding a post you made a few weeks back about how and when you give warnings: I got the feeling from it that you don't keep track of which blogs have warnings? If that's true and someone breaks the rules again, how will you know if they've been warned before? Obviously right now you're not giving warnings left and right and if someone breaks the rules twice in one week it's different, but I was still wondering
We do keep track of the people we’ve given warnings to. I was just being dramatic in that post because I was tired of people saying we were being lenient with certain blogs, so I was trying to make the point that I can’t play favorites if I don’t always remember specifics like usernames. I actually remember most situations where we’ve had to give out warnings – as in what happened and what the person said to merit one – but I probably wouldn’t be able to name the blogs involved without looking it up.
Since I’ve been a main admin, the people we warn fall into exactly two categories:
- They acknowledge our warning and/or apologize, and they don’t do it again.
- They escalate the situation by aggressively arguing with us and insulting us, and then they get themselves blocked.
So, there aren’t actually a lot of repeat offenders right now! Which is great because there were times this summer when we were constantly warning and blocking people, and it was not fun. Although we usually don’t need to be as strict these days (thankfully), rest assured that we have ways of checking if we’ve warned someone before!
