As an LGBTQ+ fan, it makes me happy that Dreamcatcher and their company are allies. Their lyrics are gender neutral, they don’t change the pronouns in song covers, the in-the-closet scene in What MV, Sua saying “love wins!” when asked if she would marry a female fan, Yoohyeon correcting that her ideal type is “hardworking PEOPLE” when a host said it was “hardworking men,” and so many more. They not only support LGBTQ+ relationships but help to normalize it. I think that is very powerful.
I love loona but I really dislike how in their group choreos, there’s multiple parts where some of the girls are standing off to the side. Idk I just feel like there are members who already dont get a lot of lines or screen time and now they’re not even on stage for the whole song.

Part of me hopes that this molka scandal will just expose as much of the dark underbelly as there is, even if it means seeing my biases get the guillotine treatment (METAPHORICALLY). It’d hurt, especially since I don’t suspect them at all, but I’d rather lose a bias and help cure the cancer than let things stay hidden any longer. After all, I’m a human being first and a fan second.
four seasons and blue are such good songs! taeyeon has been releasing masterpiece after masterpiece and i really can’t wait for her album to drop, it’s going to be unreal
Tzuyu (twice) can never seem to win. A lot of people say she’s isn’t a visual, insult her looks, people, often insult her accent and Korean, people then comment on her voice and shyness. I think her voice has improved most since debut, she’s very stable and she’s a great dancer. I think it’s unfair to blame her for being shy on variety shows after the flag incident.
I was surprised at just how much I liked Blackpink’s Kill This Love. I’ve never really enjoyed any of their other songs and also thought that the more badass/girl crush concept they were trying for didn’t work super well. But It’s not that bad at all in Kill This Love and I genuinely love the song.
fromis_9 were definitely my favorite 2018 rookies. their songs are not only totally my style but, i really adore their voices. they have so much sincerity and heart in their voices, it makes listening to their songs so much more enjoyable. not to mention the chemistry the members have with one another is top notch and their stellar personalities. the fact that they’re all absolutely stunning is a plus as well.
i find hyewon from iz*one so hilarious. the truly funny part is it seems like she’s so unintentionally funny. her personality as a whole is just so quirky and relatable. she seems like a truly nice person and i’m actually really glad she made it into the final lineup.
I liked Sunmis Noir Video it did a solid job complimenting the song and making the message a lot stronger with the visuals, but i feel like people overanalyze the video and calling Sunmi a “Genius”, what she did wasn’t anything revolutionary it was very on the nose and straight forward not everything has to have a deep analysis to appriciate the message, calm down people.
Honestly sometimes whenever I looked into Suga’s eyes, I feel oddly connected to him in a way that I can’t really describe. In my opinion BTS music never really my cup of tea, their dynamic sometimes quite off to me, but then I just realise that I never really into BTS because I simply attracted to Suga and only Suga. For me, that’s the only reason I ever felt strongly to him and that’s the reason I try to listen to BTS because I genuinely feel I really fall for Suga.
