after all these years, “like ooh-ah” still remains my favorite title track from twice. the outfits were super cute, the concept was the perfect mash of cute, fun, and girl crush, and i think it still has my favorite rap from dahyun and chaeyoung. it was catchy, but not in the obnoxious “THIS IS CATCHY, THIS WILL GET IN YOUR HEAD, WE’LL MAKE SURE OF IT” way that most of their songs nowadays are being composed. i’m still waiting for them to top it.
I don’t understand the “2nd generation is better” thing. Try to enjoy the music that the current generation is putting out, and if you can’t, then don’t. There isn’t a generation that is better than the other, in my opinion. They are all equal, it’s just that times change, and so does music. So stop ruining it for people who are trying to enjoy the current generation by bashing it and making 2nd superior, because we all know that 1st will remain at its throne. Just my two cents.
with all of the popularity bts has, its funny to think that they’ve never had a hit. like sure their songs perform well on charts but they aren’t absolute hits. i wonder if they’ll be able to produce one.
It’s funny how people are always arguing which girl group, between blackpink and twice, is number one but the real tea is “the number one girl group” title is between red velvet and blackpink. The 3rd place is between twice and gfriend. Especially after the horrible releases such as What is love and Dance the night away…
It’s annoying when Kpop fans get mad at others (new or not) for not always being able to pronounce certain names and words in Korean. Not everyone has the linguistic vocabulary to pronounce certain sounds, and obviously with certain accents, things can come out funny. Just correct them and move on, you don’t need to roast them. Especially when you wouldn’t get mad at most of these idols pronouncing your name wrong knowing that whatever language your name is in, isn’t their first language.
BTOB is one of the VERY few groups that have both amazing vocals and an amazing rap line. They are visuals, they can sing live and they’re one of the funniest groups in Kpop. Honestly they have the full package. I just wish they were more popular internationally, but I guess they’re too “ballady” for international taste.
Loona are a fascinating subject for me lately. They have brilliant producers, a very sought-after music video director, stunning mvs, and each song is great, even the b-sides are very strong. But this is all predebut, and I keep wondering: will they be able to keep up this track record in debut era and beyond, or will they end up delivering an underwhelming debut album and dwindle in popularity? It’s scary to think about, i love all the members and i hope their careers in Loona go great.
It really says something about how lazy pledis is at managing and how good their trainees are if in all three seasons of produce, their trainees managed to score quite well, with produce 48 still on its way. If pledis put more effort in managing and promoting their groups and soloist properly, I think they would have had a chance at becoming as big as the big three
The amount of hate that GOT7 is getting is ridiculous, so I just want to say that the fans love these dorks and we will be always with them. We are so proud, this last tour showed how much they grown and how their success irritated some people.
SM!!! Where is my F(x) comeback?! Please open the doors of your dungeon and the girls come back. They’re such a great and unique group to be rotting down there. I feel like I’m going to pass away before I hear anything about them. All my groups disbanded and they’re the last ones left. I’d hate to have them disband without a proper comeback.
