Blackpink deserve all of the recognition they’re getting and then some. Their music is amazing and it’s nice to see a group where you can’t tell allot of the members genuinely care for and love each other. I can’t wait for them to continue breaking records and making history.
I don’t know if I’ll sound like a loser or not but sometimes I see or watch or read about things I think my favourite idols would like as well, and almost forget I don’t know them, or wish I was able to communicate with them in order to recommend that thing. Like the other day I discovered this new Netflix original that’s entirely animated, and I thought “Renjun would love this, it’s so good. He could appreciate the beauty in the different animation styles” but then I remembered that I didn’t know him lol and even if I could still recommend the show, it’s R rated so he’d probably started watching the first episode and then stop being it’s so explicit and wonder why a fan would recommend something with so much gratuitous nudity. But sometimes idols make you feel like you know them, or share personal things with you to make you feel like you know what they’d like.
SM and Capital records have handled NCT 127’s promotions really well over seas. It’s frustrating to see how many Asian and Korean fans however wish to boycott the group entirely because of how lenient and cheap it is for American NCTzens to own merch and interact with the group. If you guys weren’t ok with buying 100 albums to have only a chance at attending a fansign, you never should have participated. But that is how Kpop has always been for all Kpop groups; ya’ll aren’t special. If Korean and Asian fans do end up boycotting 127, I hope instead of locking them in the basement, SM decides to continue to promote them internationally. NCT in general do not deserve finicky fans like them. Even though they are a Kpop group first and foremost, the majority of the members aren’t even Korean. Korean fans do not own NCT, nor do they have a monapoly on them/deserve more than other fans do.
I know CL is somewhere PISSED about how hard YG is going for BlackPink in America when he cock blocked almost every opportunity Scooter Braun was trying to get for her. All that music she recorded just wasted.
There’s a major difference between a fair line distribution and an equal one but also if you’re gonna give a member no lines, put them in the back for the choreography and give them no screen time, then what’s the point in putting them in the group? (Looking at you SM)
(1 exo-l confession) Exo-l‘s once again proved their hypocrisis as a fandom to me with the top social award. For the two years before they said the award is only a paper award and not important in the first place just bc bangtan won it and as soon as they were nominated it was suddenly important. Some big accounts updating fans about the voting went even as far as lying to their followers about the gap so they would vote harder. Realistically speaking they had no chance to win this.
(2 exo-l confession) but they still had their hopes up and when bts unsuprisingly won they were upset. They requested a statement from billboard on how the votes are verified and said that their verification method is weird. Some even said the voting is rigged and then they again proceeded to say exo doesn’t need this award and it’s unimportant anyways. They also did the same with daesangs during award show season. Bc exo didn‘t win the awards were suddenly worth nothing. It’s rly annoying
Why does Twice seem to get into the stupidest scandals, like first Tzuyu with her flag controversy and now Sana for just saying “hello Reiwa, goodbye Heisei?“
I think part of the reason that boy groups tend to last longer than girl groups is that boy groups are much more likely to take initiative in creating their music. They’re more likely to write their own lyrics, do their own composition and production, and get their names out there. That’s something I rarely see in girl groups, and I think if they were more proactive, they might last a bit longer.
I was so confused as to why the CEO of Twitter asked Got7 to meet with them when they are even the most followed kpop group. Bts is, when bambam asked why them the CEO just gave them a such disingenuous answer
red velvet’s next comeback is probably going to be a red concept, but man do I crave a pure velvet concept (automatic-style). at this point I just hope it’s going to be a super fun song for us and for them to enjoy.
Admin Note: This was sent in before Red Velvet made their comeback. We hope OP is enjoying the song!
