Golden Child is so wonderful. All of their songs have a fun feel to them, and they make you smile after listening. Plus, the members are so cute and nice, and so kind to their fans that it warms my heart. All of their songs just keep getting better and better, and it’s a shame they aren’t more recognized.
In my opinion Golden Child, Stray Kids, and The Boyz had the best releases this year. There’s not one song that I disliked or hated. All their songs were catchy and amazing.
Golden Child’s JangJun is like next level extra but he isn’t the annoying kind of extra. He’s extra in a way that he likes to make boring moments entertaining. It’s not like he wants the spotlight all for himself either. He likes to share his extraness with his other members so they can get some attention. While he DOES attract attention, he doesn’t divert the attention from other members to himself (unlike his leader)(no shade tho)
I know this was released a while ago, but Weki Meki and Golden Child’s “Weekly Idol” episode was one of the best that I’ve watched. As they’re both rookie groups, I expected one to overshadow the other, however it ended up being quite the opposite. Their chemistry was simply amazing, allowing both groups to show off both their variety skills and their individual talents. I see a bright future for these two rookie groups, and hope to see a friendship formed.
Honestly when Woollim released that their new boy group was going to be called Golden Child I was completely turned off. How could a company that came out with names like INFINITE & Lovelyz (and even Tasty) come out with a name like Golden Child. I had been casually following certain members for years and I had been waiting for their debut, but the name turned me off so much that I just had to turn away (which tbh was slightly stupid, but I was somehow that turned off). Fast forward to August when they finally debut. I figured I owed it to them (and myself) to not be so shallow and check it out and frankly I was amazed. I love Damdadi and all the members are super likeable. Since then I’ve basically watched everything that’s been subbed and honestly I don’t hate the name anymore. It saddens me to think that I almost didn’t get into them because I was an idiot who didn’t like their name.
I think Golden Child can be a very successful group. They are all handsome and talented. I could see them being the next Seventeen (not that seventeen are has beens, they have years ahead of them) but they have a cuter concept and I can see them getting more mature concepts as they age. I’m just really excited for their future!!
I see a lot of potential in Golden Child. They’re really cool, their visuals are really strong and they seem like a very strong unit altogether. I hope they can show more of what they have in stored and stay strong in the competition! They’re a promising rookie group!
I wish people would stop blaming Golden Child or Lovelyz for Infinite’s impending comeback. I’m an Inspirit but the hate these two groups get for it is ridiculous and it’s not even their fault. There are so many things going on in the company and between the members themselves that we fans don’t know about so it’s best to just trust the boys and stop pointing fingers. Just be a little patient.
Just because you don’t vote for your faves doesn’t mean you are fake.
woollim is a shit company. exhibit a) prioritizing golden child’s debut over defending woohyun during his scandal. exhibit b) debuting golden child in the midst of contract negotiations (as if golden child can replace infinite and what infinite has done for that company, essentially implying that golden child would have more worth over infinite). exhibit c) just generally not looking out for the infinite members? why are they still making sungjong starve himself? why aren’t they letting sungyeol audition for more drama roles? why are the only schedules that sungyeol has have to be related to his brother? they deserve more and I’m a little salty that infinite didn’t pull a highlight and leave woollim together
