People need to stop saying that Minhwan [FT Island] ruined Yulhee’s [Laboum] career. It was her decision to marry him and have a child. He did not force her to. I think both decisions were terrible, but she was an equal participant and is every bit to blame as he is for the situation they’re in. She doesn’t get off the hook because she’s female. She is an adult who can make her own decisions. They just may not have been the best ones.
Laboum’s comeback with “Between Us” is impeccable and completely exceeded my expectations of them. I lost interest a long time ago after Sugar Sugar because their sound was becoming uninteresting, but holy crap. Between Us as a song is almost like an homage to older kpop, it has a similar vibe to Something by Girls’ Day – sensual, mature and elegant. And the dance! So simple but it flows so beautifully.
I lost a little interest in Laboum the last couple comebacks, but ZN’s activities with Uni.T have helped me fall back in love with her and the group. She’s such a joy to watch on stage. I don’t think their recent concept was the best choice for them though.
I’m excited for Laboum to have a comeback but it’ll be strange without Yulhee there to rap.
I’m so happy for my Laboum bias. Now that she is dating F.T. Island’s Minhwan, I hope she doesn’t get any hate and a lot of love and support from fans. I will support you to the end, Yulhee!
Oh my Girl and Lovelyz deserved #1 eons ahead of Laboum. You can all stop trying to be nice and admit it too.
Laboum’s new song, only u, is such an amazing song. I hope people don’t hope their company’s choice to try “legal” sajaegi against them and keep giving them a chance. Their music and performances really are great and you’re missing out.
