I hate the whole boyfriend attitude towards fans. I love watching the mv’s with boyfriend concepts, but I just can’t help but cringe when they jokingly call fans their boyfriends or girlfriends in real life. I wish idols would treat their fan base as friends instead. I love seeing the more humorous and friendly attitudes rather than empty flirting. I understand that this is how the kpop market works and it sells, but I cant help but grow tired of it as I’ve gotten older.
As someone who ults Johnny, NCT’s last comeback has been a really uncomfortable and saddening experience for me. He got exactly 3 seconds of lines in the WHOLE album and was granted to participate in only ONE song and MV – his treatment is ridiculous. I’m tired of hearing “then just wait till the next comeback! Maybe he will get lines then!” because the truth is also that most NCTzens don’t care. He’s the member that always gets clowned and when it comes to lines, fans only demand justice for Winwin or Yuta and don’t even remember that Johnny is in the group. Plus I can’t be happy for the new members Lucas or Jungwoo, who got to debut so quickly and already have a stabilized position, lines and so many given opportunities after only 2 months in the group, while Johnny has been with SM for how long?? And they even forget to update his official profile out of all 18 members in the group, it says a lot. I’m so fed up and at this point I can’t support NCT as a whole any more. Also, Kun says hi. NCT’s system is a mess.
i lowkey love that the only member of the boyz that raps in title tracks (so far) is sunwoo. not that eric and hwall are bad or anything but i appreciate that they aren’t forced to rap in every title track.
I feel like Shownu is the live version of Shiro from Voltron.
I feel like Teen Top is very unlucky. They started off catching interest but lost impact b/c of a lot of things. They’re the same age as some of the newer groups but looked down on. I hope they gain A LOT more popularity because they deserve it with all the hardwork they have & are putting in for so many years!
Color Ring by Winner is a good song but it’s kinda a mess. It’s starts off nice but then it gets disoriented. But you have to realize this is in the beginning of Winner so expecting perfection from a group when they first start is pointless. It just gives me more a reason to like the song.
I’ve noticed that 97% of my biases are dancers and Taeyong is at the top right now. He seems so unreal and continues to take my breath away. His stage presence is alluring, his movements are hypnotic and effortless, and his attitude as he performs is intense. He’s a pleasure to watch. And as a dancer myself, I can learn so much from him. He really was born for the stage.
