I really enjoyed Taeyeon’s VCRs during her ’s… concert. “Up&Down” was really cute, and she looked so good. And “Something New” made me cry a little. I interpreted it as her feeling out of place or lonely despite being surrounded by a lot of people, and I really empathize with that. She and her team did a really good job with both videos.
I find it ridiculous when people decide they hate a song purely based on the music video/choreography/outfits
When I first got into Kpop I was really surprised to see how many fan discussions completely revolve around the looks of group members. I’m always shocked to see people saying “X member looks so good!” as their main reasoning behind certain comebacks being “legendary”, without even mentioning anything about the music. I wish there was more focus on actual songs.
I listened to RM’s mixtape for the first time and I hated it. I never really saw non BTS fans talk about it, but maybe if I had read those kinds of reviews, I would have known ahead of time how lackluster it is. The entire vibe was super depressing, and most of the tracks sounded like he was just talking, not even rapping. Especially forever rain. It sounded like one of those audio book tapes people use to fall asleep to. I think the sad thing is when people check something out for the first time with either high or no expectation and they dislike it, it really bars them from checking anything else out.
I’m amazed at how gorgeous KNK’s music video for sunset is considering they just left their company and started their own from scratch
No matter how someone feels about idols dating, leaving them be its the right thing to do and I agree with condemning/calling out fans that act immature and leave hate comments, but if there is one thing I don’t like is how other fans (esp i-fans) thinks it’s okay to make what are probably young girls feel stupid for being hurt when their attachment for their idols was being exploited in the 1st place. Clowning those that leave a fandom when idols themselves participated themselves in it for $.
I’ve never shipped any idols before (nor will i ever start) but i have to say loco x hwasa is some cute shit. I watched their episodes of ‘hyena on the keyboard’ and they were both so shy and really cute when they interacted (save from that weird moment when he asked to see pictures of her when she was fat??? haha). they seemed to vibe really well and enjoyed each others presence. That’s some wholesome stuff.
Dramatic by BVNDIT sounds almost identical to Rumour (Produce 48) to me.
